Senior Manager, Technical Product Management - League of Legends

As a Sr. Manager, Technical Product Management (TPM) at Riot, you will leverage your product management experience paired with your knowledge of game development to provide players with essential features and supporting systems. As a Sr. Manager TPM for League of Legends PC within League Studio, you will work on the around game experience for League of Legends PC. You will direct efforts to build approachable navigation, progression, social, identity, and shopping experiences. You will be accountable for new player retention improvement efforts, as well as improving engagement and monetization of existing players. You will manage a team of TPMs working on specific areas of the League of Legends PC around game experience.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your team
- Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, adeptly anticipating future challenges and orchestrating multi-team responses to meet the evolving needs of our players and development teams located throughout the world
- Manage technical complexity, validating requirements and designs for cross-discipline projects, and communicating technical tradeoffs to a non-technical audience
- Partner and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Art, Design, Quality, and Insights to align on the product and technical plans and ensure that the products are aligned with League of Legends’ and Riot’s goals
- Manage relationships with partners, stakeholders and customers, in addition to direct management over other TPM’s
- Develop and oversee product metrics and goals for your team, as well as SLAs with partner teams
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of technical product management or program management experience
- A minimum of 4 years of leadership experience managing and building healthy, diverse, and inclusive teams
- Experience leading product for at least one live-service game release on any platform
- Experience working directly with creative disciplines and content creators
- Experience creating 0-1 products in ambiguous product spaces
- Excellent teamwork, team leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
- Aligned to servant leadership principles and the value and importance of ensuring psychological safety, healthy feedback culture and conflict management within and between teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience with strong technical knowledge
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with player acquisition and retention methodologies
- Experience with free-to-play game monetization systems
- Experience with proprietary game engines
- Experience with game engine tooling (e.g. UI, animation, 3d scene, audio)

- (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $218,300.00 - $304,300.00 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
