As the Dubai  Workplace Experience Partner, you will keep the Dubai office rolling and cultivate a space where all Rioters can thrive.

You will be responsible for assisting the EMEA+ Workplace Experience Manager in all aspects of office management and program / project management within the scope of WE as well as being the first POC related to the Dubai office.

Please note this is a part time contract role until December 20th 2024 based onsite in the office for around 26 hours a week. 

Office Operations:

  • You will be the first point of contact for all Dubai Rioters, guests and visitors and make sure the office is functional and presentable at all times.
  • You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining local best practices, being accountable for overall inner-workings of Dubai including but limited to: mail, guest reception, stock & inventory mgmt, vendor mgmt, maintenance, documentation, budget, preliminary finance.
  • You will be accountable for assisting with local budget management, ensuring all expenditures are in line with the company's sustainability and efficiency goals, and subject to prior approval from your supervisor.
  • You will implement induction and onboarding programs aligned with WE standards.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the office is Health & Safety compliant on site.
  • You will liaise with Rioters on their space needs and make changes to accommodate space needs as required.
  • You will assist in managing the day to day work of the local in house contractor team (security, cleaning, catering etc).
  • You will maintain good working relationships with the building landlord/service manager and key suppliers and contractors relative to WE on a day to day basis.
  • You will support office events which are agreed upon by the WE Supervisor and may be regularly called upon to lend logistic support for meetings, office wide events.
  • You will work with the WE Supervisory to stay up to date and make sure Dubai is compliant with local EHS regulations.
  • You will stay up to date and support local workflows in regards to WE related needs.

Requirements:

  • You must have excellent verbal and written English and speak Arabic
  • You have spent at least a year working behind the scenes to keep an office running smoothly
  • You will put forward decisions that impact quality, efficiency and (cost) effectiveness as well as recommending solutions and improvements to the WE Supervisor.
  • You will solve problems that require self judgment and have the ability to evaluate identifiable factors.
  • You have the ability to operate independently and proactively with little instruction on day to day operations.
  • You have the ability to prioritize workload and have a high level of organizational proficiency and initiative.
  • You have the ability to know when to escalate and report issues to the EMEA+ WE supervisor and communicate those in a brief and concise manner. 

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!
