Senior Manager, Game Production, Distributed Development

In this position you will accompany producers & product managers as they take their products from conception to launch and beyond. You will ensure that teams align with product vision, have a deep understanding of player/customer needs, and consistently deliver at a high-quality bar for players. You will work with designers and engineers to provide genre-defining experiences to our players. You will ensure a smooth co-development effort between Sydney-based teams and our studios globally.
As a Senior Manager, Game Production in Sydney you will operate across League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Wild Rift as well as central technical teams, operating across the company and get to work on a diverse portfolio of projects. You will have half a dozen direct reports, will interact daily with your colleagues overseas, and will work closely with studio management on broader operational topics.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage and grow team-level production and product management craft and capabilities, working with other Senior Production Managers
- Drive strategic work alignment between areas and project objectives
- Provide essential product and production feedback and insights to the team and leadership
- Foster a healthy co-development distributed environment
- Ensure team health, culture, and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in software/game development
- 4+ years in a leadership position
- 4+ years of direct people management experience
- Experience leading teams through major feature development (planning, execution, release, post-release support)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and frameworks
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in creating metrics and data-driven improvement loops
- Proven ability to work using established prioritization methods
- Video game industry a plus
