As a Creative Manager, you’ll be joining the Thailand publishing team and will be responsible for overseeing the creative executions for an upcoming Strategy game. Reporting into te Marketing Service Manager, the Creative Manager is expected to showcase a high level of creativity and ability to strategically ideate and execute ideas onto paper. You’ll use your storied artistic background, intellectual curiosity, organizational prowess, communicative clout, collaborative countenance, and player-first mindset to conceive assets that align with the look and feel of our games — while creating kick-ass visual design work that’ll excite players all over Thailand.
Responsibilities
- Driving the local creative vision for Thailand– defining 'amazing player experiences' and accentuating that creatively
- Prioritising which player experiences to ‘supercharge’ (elevating, amplifying etc) in Thailand.
- Supporting the selection process for promoting the work (internal sharing, reel, awards etc.)
- Continually developing an advanced view of the latest tastes and trends of Thai players and behaviors
- Represent the Thai market and players in APAC's creative craft rituals.
- Continually holding a test-and-learn mindset to Thai players, experimenting with new approaches.
- Overseeing a world-class standard of player experiences
- Fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the office.
- Acting as the creative director in local projects, leading the team to creative excellence with outstanding creative execution
Required Qualifications:
- A passionate designer with 5+ years experience: your portfolio is a cover-to-cover inspiration; you have a good understanding of how to harness print and web design to create extraordinary experiences to engage players in a variety of ways.
- A craftsperson: you're as experienced and knowledgeable with pad and pencil as you are with Photoshop and Illustrator; you possess aesthetic judgment with a keen eye for light, color, value, form, typography, and composition.
- Communicative and collaborative: you can communicate with any department in any medium, be it a conference call, g-chat, or smoke signal; when teammates are struggling, you happily help with a positive attitude and rolled-up sleeves.
- Bilingual (English and Thai speaker): you are fluent in English and Thai with the context to understand and interpret both cultures, and are a strong writer in both languages.
- Action-oriented: you take the bull by the horns and ride the damn thing through the heart of a dragon; you turn challenges into opportunities, even without extensive planning, because "too hard" means nothing to a dragon slayer.
- Intellectually curious: you consider a day without learning a day wasted; you're always curious about new techniques and do daily deep dives on next-gen workflow Player-focused: you’re obsessed with leveling up the UX, always putting the player first when creating art.
