Our Bangkok office aims to improve the gaming experience in Thailand by tailoring our games directly for Thai players.
Our Bangkok office opened in 2024 when Riot began to self publish all of our games in Thailand and across Southeast Asia. Rioters in our Bangkok office are focused on improving the player experience in Thailand by creating localized campaigns, publishing unique content, and engaging directly with Thai players.
Players across Thailand are passionate and deeply invested, creating a vibrant gaming community. The Rioters who work in this office are part of that community themselves and are dedicated to serving passionate players from Chiang Rai to Yala and everywhere in between.
The team also helps support the inclusion of Thai culture in our games. One example is VALORANT’s Team Deathmatch map DRIFT: Loy Thara which is inspired by Thailand and features elements of Thai culture throughout.
Located in the heart of Sam Yan, the office’s central location helps Rioters tap into the local culture and keeps them connected with the next generation of Thai players. As the team grows to better serve local players, they will continue to foster a culture of creativity and community–qualities they aim to bring into every campaign they create.
