Role of the Associate HR Business Partner:

The Associate HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with Rioters and EMEA HRBPs to deliver tailored guidance and solutions across various People-related activities, requiring in-depth expertise across multiple countries, organizations and specialties. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Rioters experience the best that Riot has to offer, with a focus on their overall experience, timely responses, and sharing of knowledge within the team. The Associate HR Business Partner will balance Rioters' needs with Riot’s philosophy, principles, and resources, ensuring a consistent and supportive HR presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first contact to respond to manager questions about People programs, policies, and other HR-related topics (benefits, performance management, compensation, learning and development) and have active role in managing our  Manager communication channels 
  • Assess Rioter inquiries and connect queries to the appropriate expert - immigration, relocation, compensation, legal, benefits, and payroll
  • Complete records audits of all information systems on a dedicated rhythm and ensure all data is correct across business units and products
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR policies by connecting the dots across multiple experiences of Rioters/managers
  • Assist HR Business Partners with planning and roll-out of People programs, such as succession and organization planning, talent assessments, mid-year and year-end cycles and change management
  • Partner with HR Operations in support of the exit process and conduct periodic exit analyses, providing key themes to leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR generalist/business partner role with 3+ years of overall HR experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge local and EU employment law, administration of leaves of absences, ER investigations and navigating workers comp claims
  • Participation in full end-to-end HR calendar activities with experience analyzing data to make recommendations as part of these processes

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or relevant field; or equivalent work experience
  • German language preferred
