If you’ve ever talked about Indonesia on social media and had your mentions filled with #AdaIndonesiaCoy (there are Indonesians here, dude) and #IndoPride, you know just how much passion Indonesian players have for their country, their friends, and the games they play. 

Serving that passion is why we opened our Jakarta office in 2022. That was when Riot began to self-publish all our games in Southeast Asia after a decade-long partnership with Garena came to an end. 

Now the team in Jakarta serves Indonesian players directly across League, TFT, VALORANT, Wild Rift, and 2XKO. That includes everything from creating conventions for local players to running tournaments that bring global Riot campaigns close to home.

One of the first major events the team worked on was VALORANT Connext in 2023. With Indonesia being the home of f0rsakeN, mindfreak, and Xffero, some of the best VALORANT players in the world, the team in Jakarta brought them and their teams in Paper Rex and Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) out to compete in an exhibition match. They turned the match into a full day fan fest where Indonesian fans could see top teams compete, get autographs from the players, and meet other local VALORANT players. 

They even had players from around Indonesia submit their gameplay for a chance to compete against the VALORANT stars with the winners being flown out to Jakarta for the event. 

The team in Indonesia may have been founded later than many of our other regional offices but they’re making up for missed time by working hard to deliver everything they can for the passionate players around Indonesia.
