We are looking for an experienced Publishing Operations Coordinator, with a strong background in Product Management to work on our fighting game initiatives.

This role requires a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and expertise in project management. A core element for this position is to understand how to take strategies into diversified tactics that will reach and engage the audience.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for fighting games and/or a proven track record in launching a game to a new audience, reaching them across the entire customer journey - from awareness to retention and revivals.

This role will be based within the São Paulo, Brazil offices and it will have some requirements to be in office for the duration of this 12 month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Tactic Mentality: Co-work with local and international teams to develop local strategy and tactics to be implemented in a full-funnel strategy tailored for the fighting game community and adjacent players. These ideas should always consider the whole customer journey.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) to gather insights on user behavior, using this data to inform product decisions and enhance players experience.
  • Project Management: Co-lead cross-functional teams in executing complex projects and marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Utilize project management tools like Jira, Airtable, Slack and other relevant tools to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively.
  • Fighting Game Community Initiatives: Work to approach this community with many tailored initiatives driven to them, like tournaments and events, while introducing 2XKO. The idea is to put Riot and its fighting game as part of this community, supporting them and creating special moments and marketing campaigns that they feel proud to be part of.
  • Events and Production: Many initiatives related to this product may include producing in real life events, so understanding details and processes related to this kind of initiative is crucial for this role. This product will also have initiatives including production of in real life items, like apparel, objects related to the game and other give-aways, so comprehending how to deal with vendors and keep up with the production process is also relevant for this role.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work with global and regional leadership in building local publishing strategies and in creating regional focus moments tied to the product moments (e.g. Alpha Labs, Open Betas and Launching).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in publishing operations and/or product management, with an ideal focus on gaming.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects, specially projects including in real life tactics, like events or items.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent written and verbal English.
  • Understanding fighting games trends and user behaviors is nice to have.
