Paul Bellezza
Paul Bellezza is the Executive Producer of League of Legends where he works across the company to help deliver amazing things for players. As EP, Paul is focused on fostering a creative and supportive culture with an incredible team of Rioters dedicated to making League the top competitive game for generations to come.
Paul’s career at Riot starts from the very beginning. After responding to a Craigslist post for an office manager position at Riot Games in 2006, he became Riot’s first game design and production intern. While working on League’s earliest iterations, he helped with the first twenty champions, designed front end menus, and had the name for the Yordles come to him in a dream.
After taking a brief break to work on indie games, Paul returned to Riot in 2010 where he helped ship more than 50 champions including Jinx, Vi, Viktor, and Jayce, worked on the Bilgewater Burning Tides event, and brought in-game emotes to League.
When he’s not at Riot, he’s been known to drop knowledge as an adjunct professor at USC while teaching a course on the History, Business, and Culture of Video Games. While his gaming knowledge is vast, it pales only to his knowledge of the best street tacos in Los Angeles. Paul received his BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and an MFA in Interactive Media and Game Design from USC.
