Michael Sherman
Michael Sherman is the Global Head of Esports for Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and 2XKO. Sherman oversees the development of future-focused esports strategies for TFT, the largest PC strategy game in the world, as well as developing unique identities of new emerging esports like 2XKO.
Sherman joined Riot in 2014, leading collegiate esports and launching the Riot Scholastic Association of America, the official scholastic governing body. He later served as the publishing lead for the League Championship Series (LCS), where he helped launch the LCS rebrand, supported the growth of co-streaming, and ushered esports onto new channels like TikTok.
Across Sherman’s League of Legends career, he has faced off against countless professional league players on the ranked ladder, including Bjergsen, Aphromoo, Darshan, Dyrus, and the entirety of CLG, despite being ranked gold at best. In addition to gaming, his interests include an impressive collection of Whataburger memorabilia.
