Leo Faria
Leo Faria serves as the Global Head of VALORANT Esports overseeing strategy and execution for the VALORANT Champions Tour, including all of its leagues and major international events. Since its inception, the VCT has become the world’s fastest growing esport, attracting millions of fans around the globe and partners such as Mastercard, AWS, RedBull, and HP.
Leo also oversees VALORANT Game Changers, Riot Games’ first women’s esports program designed to create a future where players of all backgrounds are inspired and enabled to compete in VALORANT, united by their passion for gaming and competition.
Since joining Riot Games in 2016, Leo has held a variety of leadership positions overseeing publishing and esports strategy across Riot’s diverse portfolio. Before joining Riot, Leo worked for over a decade in the technology sector, starting his career as an engineer and eventually founding a data analytics company that was acquired by one of the largest technology conglomerates in Latin America.
Leo has played shooters for most of his life. He grew up in Brazil and spent many nights with friends playing games across the numerous LAN houses that dotted the country. Leo also has a life-long passion for music and can be found recording Foo Fighters cover songs in his free time at home.
