You can link your accounts by navigating to the Xbox Game Pass Welcome Page. You may be asked to sign into your Riot Account and sign in with your Xbox profile to complete the linking process. Access to benefits requires Xbox Game Pass subscription, sold separately. Game catalog varies over time.

If your Xbox profile is associated with an active Game Pass membership, you’ll get an in-game notification the next time you log into any one of Riot’s games notifying you when your benefits are unlocked. In some cases, the unlock process can take up to 24 hours. Once your benefits are ready, you’ll see all of the content you unlocked in your in-game collections with the Rewards Program indicator for as long as your Xbox Game Pass membership remains linked and active.

1. VALORANT - All Agents will be unlocked under your Agents Contract Screen, receive instant access to new agents on day one, and you will receive a 20% match XP boost given to Battle Pass, Active Agent Contract, & Event Pass Progress. XP boost does not apply to daily missions, weekly missions or account level XP. Xbox Game Pass and Premium PC Cafe Benefits do not stack.
2. League of Legends - Champions will be unlocked in your Champion Collection and you will receive a 20% XP boost. Purchasing in-game champion skins requires separate purchase of the champion in League of Legends / Wild Rift.
3. Teamfight Tactics - Unlocked 1-Star Little Legends (excluding latest) and 4 Arena Skins can be found in the Loadouts selector.
4. League of Legends: Wild Rift - Benefits for League of Legends: Wild Rift will be available later in January, 2023. Champions will be unlocked in your Champion Collection and you will receive a 20% XP boost.
5. Legends of Runeterra - The Foundations set will be unlocked in your Collection and Deck Builder.

Content unlocked through Game Pass or other Rewards Programs will be indicated in-game with the Rewards Program indicator ().

You can only buy skins for champions you own. All champions may be unlocked with Game Pass, but just like the free weekly rotation, those champions are only available for a limited time—in this case, that's as long as you have Game Pass! If you want to purchase a skin, you'll have to purchase the champion first.

You can check your account link and Game Pass membership status by visiting Account Management and navigating to Connected Accounts. Your Xbox profile will be listed under “Connected” if you’ve linked your account with a “Game Pass member” indicator if you have a Game Pass membership. 

You can unlink your account by visiting Account Management and clicking the minus icon to the right of your connected Xbox profile. 

If you have an active Game Pass membership and want to disconnect your Xbox profile from your Riot Account, you’ll immediately lose access to all Game Pass member benefits. A link between a Riot Account and Xbox profile with an active Game Pass membership is required to maintain access to Game Pass member benefits.

If you become an Xbox Game Pass member while your Xbox profile is linked to your Riot Account, we'll share gameplay data with Microsoft for accounting, internal reporting, business planning, and product improvement efforts. You can stop data sharing anytime by disconnecting your Xbox profile from your Riot Account.

If your Xbox profile is linked, you’ll also need an active Game Pass subscription to unlock benefits.

If you’re already a Game Pass subscriber with an Xbox profile linked to your Riot Account, it may take up to 24 hours for your benefits to unlock in Riot’s games. This delay is more likely if you’ve just activated a Game Pass subscription. Please try re-launching your game(s) at a later time. The first time you open one of our games after your benefits have unlocked, you’ll receive an in-game message or notification about the benefits for that game.

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass member and your Riot Account isn’t receiving Game Pass member benefits more than 24 hours after linking your Xbox profile, please contact Player Support.

If your Game Pass membership changes, your benefits will be affected in-game. If your Game Pass membership expires, your in-game benefits will be lost. If you start or re-activate a Game Pass membership anytime after your Xbox profile is linked to your Riot Account, you’ll unlock benefits in-game. Benefit gain or loss may take up to 24 hours to process. 

If you created your Riot Account for the first time with your Xbox profile, you’ll use that as your primary method of signing into Riot. You can also configure alternate sign-in methods in Account Management or create a Riot username and password.

If you linked your Xbox profile to your existing Riot Account, you may also sign into your Riot Account using any method you’ve already configured. This includes a Riot username and password or other social sign-in methods, like Google, Facebook, or Apple.
