The IP Strategy team was created with this in mind and the vision of One Riot, in order to unlock Rioters to deliver remarkable, coherent, and inspirational IP expressions across all products. IP Strategy is a team within Central Creative that advises product teams on how best to leverage Riot’s IP, creates and manages foundational materials to help creatives align on a single source of truth within our IP, develops governance practices for creating cohesiveness within our IPs , and Builds programs and processes to help creatives develop with more confidence in the IP. IP Strategy makes it better to be a player by rewarding fans of Riot’s IP for their devotion to the characters, worlds, and stories that they’ve come to love. 

As a Producer on IP Strategy, you will function as the metaphorical oil in the machine that is the IP Strategy team. You will partner with senior producers within the team to keep the team running smoothly. You will report to Sr. Manager, Business Operations and provide support to all initiatives within IP Strategy across the League of Legends and Valorant IPs. You will leverage your attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and collaborative spirit to prevent balls from being dropped. You will also work alongside creatives across multiple disciplines, and be a representative of IPS’ mission and vision. 

Responsibilities 

  • Creation, organization, archiving, and distribution of documentation (presentations, newsletters, etc)
  • Data input, validation, and project tracking
  • Task tracking and delivery support across multiple initiatives
  • Supporting fellow producers with process and project optimization 
  • Airtable/database creation and management 
  • Supporting healthy communication between IPS initiatives internally, and with key partners across the studio
    • Monitoring and auditing Slack channels, email distros, etc 
  • Planning and supporting organization of team events and rituals
  • Agenda creation and note taking in meetings 
  • Coordinating with the IPS members in China and ensuring minimal lapses in information updating and sharing
  • Support planning and execution for live content updates in the IPS creative HUB/DAM 4
  • Supporting localization efforts of the team’s internal documentation

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience as an assistant, coordinator, or producer
  • Fluency in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills with colleagues across multiple disciplines 
  • Experience working with workflow software such as Airtable, JIRA, Trello, etc
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to create trusting relationships across a large organization

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience creating and maintaining Airtable bases 
  • Experience working with creative teams in ambiguous environments
  • Experience working at an entertainment or gaming company
  • Familiarity with the League of Legends and/or VALORANT IPs
  • Experience working with metadata and DAMs

  • (Los Angeles Only) Base salary range between $44.95 - $63.13 USD + incentive compensation + equity + 401K with company match + medical, dental, vision, and life insurance + short and long-term disability + open PTO.
